New SEPTA Regional Rail schedule goes into effect on December 15

SEPTA has announced that it is adjusting its Regional Rail schedules to improve on-time performance and service reliability for riders. These updates will impact the Glenside Combined, Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Elwyn, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark Lines.

For most lines, select trains will depart stations earlier or later than previously scheduled. New timetables reflecting these changes will go into effect on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Specific changes impacting Glenside are:

Weekday Inbound (towards Center City)

West Trenton Line Train #3419, departing Neshaminy at 7:58 a.m. will become Train #6327. The last stop of this train will be 30th Street Station arriving at 9:01 a.m. Intermediate stops have been adjusted depart 1 to 4 minutes EARLIER

West Trenton Line Train #373, departing West Trenton at 6:17 p.m. will become Train #3475 providing through service to Philadelphia International Airport. Service will depart 1 to 3 minutes EARLIER from Jenkintown-Wyncote, Fern Rock T.C., and all Center City Stations

Warminster Line Train #461, departing Warminster at 6:26 p.m. will become Train #4373 and will provide through service to Elwyn. Train #4373 will depart from all schedule station stops between Rosyln and Suburban Station 1 to 4 minutes EARLIER

Warminster Line Train #4269, currently departing Glenside at 7:02 p.m. will now depart 1 minute LATER at 7:03 p.m. and 2 to 4 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops between Jenkintown and Suburban Station

Weekday Outbound (Towards Glenside)

West Trenton Train #6300, currently departing Suburban at 9:20 a.m. will now depart 7 minutes EARLIER at 9:13 a.m. and 7 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops
