The Lore, a new coffee shop at 749 Yorkway Place in Jenkintown (adjacent to Keep Easy Meadery), is expected to open sometime in February.

Owner Oleksandr Studenet, a native of Ukraine who currently lives in Philadelphia, told Glenside Local that the venue is currently in the final stage of completion. Frink Realty, which occupied the first floor of the storefront, has moved to the second floor.

Once open, the shop will offer various drinks including coffee blends, cappuccinos and Matchas, as well as sweet and savory pastries.

Assistant Tatiana Markina said Studenet was in the area and thought the location seemed perfect for a shop.

“The Lore is built around the idea that quiet moments like a cup of coffee can become part of our narrative,” Tatiana said. “He wanted to bring warm coffee culture to the United States.”
