Mr. Charles “Chuck” Stewart, a 1975 graduate of Jenkintown High School and longtime officer with the Jenkintown Police Department, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20. He was 68 years old.

Chuck served the Jenkintown community for 33 years as a police officer, eventually earning the rank of Sergeant. He retired in 2024.

“He was deeply respected by his colleagues and neighbors for his integrity, calm presence, and steadfast commitment to public service,” his obituary said. “Chuck will be remembered for his strength, quiet kindness, sharp wit, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His legacy of service, laughter, and loyalty lives on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.”

Relatives and friends are invited to memorial services on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Shiva will be observed at the Stewart residence Monday through Wednesday.
