Arthur “Art” Scena IV, a 2003 graduate of Cheltenham High School and an officer with the Phoenixville Police Department, passed away on Sunday, October 27. He was 39.

According to his obituary, Mr. Scena was raised in Elkins Park and went on to study at Montgomery County Community College. He joined the Montgomery County Police Academy in 2010 and served as a Corrections Officer with Montgomery County Prisons, Philadelphia Housing Authority, and Chester City Police Department.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Life Celebration on Wednesday, November 6 from 9:00am – 12:00pm at Our Lady of Guadeloupe Church (5194 Cold Spring Creamery Rd, Doylestown).

Mr. Scena leaves behind his wife, Amanda, and their two beautiful daughters, Riley and Reese.

“All funds raised will go directly to Amanda to help her and the girls navigate through this challenging period,” according a GoFundMe campaign launched on behalf of the Scena family.
