Albert Sergio Jr., an assistant fire marshal for Cheltenham Township, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Friday, April 25, NBC10 reported today.
He is also accused of breaking into a house while evading police for more than 12 hours before being arrested in Hilltown Township, Bucks County early Saturday morning.
The township refused to comment on his current employment status following his arrest. He is listed on the Cheltenham Township website as the Code Administrator and has been working for the township for 11 years, NBC10 said.
According to the story, the Souderton resident is being held in a Montgomery County prison medical block. The case is still under investigation.
