Montgomery County health officials announced today that the mosquito spraying in a section of Abington Township originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, has been postponed to Wednesday, August 27 due to inclement weather.

The spray will take place from approximately 8:00pm to 11:00pm.

The sprayed area will be between Old Welsh Road, Easton Road, Rockwell Road, Rothley Avenue, Hamilton Avenue, and Woodland Road. A map is below:

Residents within the spray area should consider remaining indoors, closing windows, and turning off ventilation systems that draw outside air for the duration of the spray plus 30 minutes afterward, officials said. The spray will be performed by OPH personnel.
