Abington High grad, Solebury Township police officer promoted to Detective

Joshua Brooks, a Roslyn native and 2011 graduate of Abington High School, has been promoted to Detective by the Solebury Township Police Department (Bucks County).

According to the department’s announcement, Brooks’ career began in 2017 with the Philadelphia Police Department. He joined Solebury Township in 2023, and has since “excelled, earning certifications in narcotics and online predator investigations and serving on the Bucks County Drug Task Force.”
