Moody Jones Gallery of Glenside feat. by The Inquirer for new ‘The Light of Truth’ exhibit

Moody Jones Gallery of Glenside was recently featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer for their “The Light of Truth” exhibition held in honor of Women’s History Month.

The show opened Wednesday, March 13 and features Antoinette Ellis-Williams, Lydia Boddie-Rice, and Martryce Roach, each of whom are visual artists who create works intended to incite conversations relating to black culture.

The exhibit’s title is from a quote by Ida B. Wells-Barnett, a journalist known for her anti-lynching crusades, The Inquirer said.

“The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them,” Wells-Barnett wrote.

“People talk about how cozy it feels to them,” Adrian Moody said of the gallery he owns with his wife, Robyn R. Jones. “We just have a passion for art.”
