Montgomery Township recently painted wavy traffic lines on two blocks of Grays Lane in an effort to calm traffic along what township residents refer to as a local “speedway”.
According to the Montgomery Township Police Department, the concept was approved after input from the township’s traffic engineers, highway safety officers, and the public works department.
Glenside Local reported on Friday that multiple local municipalities are participating in a statewide aggressive driving enforcement campaign now through the end of April. Comments on social media highlighted roadways in Abington Township (Susquehanna Road, Jenkintown Road, Wharton Road, the intersections by the Ardsley train station) that could use a new approach to speed reduction.
Would you like to see something similar along those streets?
