During a press conference on Wednesday, July 8th, Montgomery County Commissioner Dr. Val Arkoosh reported that there had not been any outbreaks of Coronavirus tied to bars and restaurants in Montgomery County.

However, she did state that she has instructed the county’s Department of Health to strictly enforce the guidance provided by the state to operate a bar and restaurant during the green phase of the pandemic. Once a restaurant is witnessed violating the guidance twice it can be shut down.
