Via a press release today, Montgomery County officials announced that there are 27 additional cases of Coronavirus in the county, which includes 11 from long-term care facilities. The countywide total since the start of the pandemic is 8,067.
The county has also reported that there have been four additional confirmed deaths due to coronavirus. That brings the countywide total to 785.
Data on hospitalizations, probable deaths, and positivity rates was not included in the press release.

The two charts above show the number of new positive cases over the past 14 days. The number of cases has declined by 564 in comparison to the previous 14 days. While the state has abandoned the formula of needing to have an average of no more than 30 cases per day over 14-days to reach the yellow phase of reopening, the charts show that Montgomery County is 4.5 cases off that original benchmark.

- There have been 64 deaths in Abington
- Cheltenham Township is at 516 cases, which is one more than June 22
- There have been 50 deaths in Cheltenham, which is one more than June 22
- Jenkintown is at 29 cases, which is no change since June 22
- There have been zero deaths in Jenkintown
- Springfield Township is at 543 cases, which is 14 more than June 22
- There have been 89 deaths in Springfield
- Rockledge is at 17 cases, which is no change since June 22
- There has been one death in Rockledge
