Montgomery County will officially celebrate the holiday season tomorrow afternoon.
“The Montgomery County Commissioners will light the county tree, menorah, and kinara celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5th,” according to Mr. John Corcoran, Director of Communications for Montgomery County. “The brief ceremony will take place on the plaza level of the courthouse overlooking Main Street in Norristown. The lighting will take place regardless of weather.”
