Michael Solomonov, who has won multiple prestigious James Beard culinary awards, will speak at the Beth Sholom Congregation in Elkins Park on Sunday, April 30 at 7:00pm.
The nationally recognized Solomonov was recently featured in Vogue magazine for his Super Bowl Sunday culinary ideas. Over his decades-long career, he’s won the awards for cookbook of the year, outstanding chef, and outstanding restaurant for the Philly-based Zahav, among others.
Solomonov’s Beth Sholom appearance will celebrate Israeli cuisine and Jewish culture, and includes a discussion about Israel’s vibrant and diverse culinary culture, how Jewish identity forms the bedrock for his food, and his personal story overcoming life challenges.
