Inward Bloom Wellness, located at 2425 Blair Mill Road (Unit B) in Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township), opened for business in February.
The mental health-centric business is the brainchild of Maryanna Staerk, a registered dietician and resident of Bucks County. For years, Inward Bloom Wellness had been operating as a mobile holistic company, working out of a number of mental health and substance use facilities.
With 15 years of experience in the field, she decided to open a brick-and-mortar studio after seeing countless patients who weren’t getting better, even after treatment.
“Their quality of life was still not where they hoped it would be, so I started implementing nutrition, meditation, movement, and sound healing for people who were at the end of their roads,” Staerk told Glenside Local. “It was pretty remarkable to see the benefits. I wanted to bring this to more people, and we were being asked for an in-person studio, so we decided to open one up.”
“We offer nervous system work for people who have a lot of anxiety, are feeling burnout, and/or aren’t feeling well. That’s who we really want to help,” she said. “We start out with a call to see what potential clients are looking for. A lot of people start with nutrition, in terms of optimizing food, to feel better. Then we open the door to sound baths, reiki, and anything else that might be useful. We do somatic therapy as well. “
Staerk said Willow Grove is at the center of their service area. Inner Bloom Wellness currently has 10 staff members, including three people who are certified in transformative touch.

“Everyone’s healing journey is different. We have nightly groups and classes that we offer at low cost so people can try us out,” Staerk said. “We don’t take insurance yet for holistic services, but we do take Aetna for nutrition. We can provide a super bill for anybody who has services that aren’t Aetna.”
