Mary (Gail) Pensabene, a Glenside resident and longtime travel agent at Glenside Travel Agency, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 10. She was 80 years old.

According to her obituary, Mrs. Pensabene and her husband Joe were parishioners of St. Luke’s Catholic Church for over 50 years.

“As the oldest of 8 children, Gail cherished her family and loved spending time with them at the seemingly endless flow of weddings, birthdays and holidays. When not acting as the big sister, she was with her Card Club friends – which she considered her extended family. Gail and Joe treasured their summers in Longport where they spent every summer of their married life, and Gail over 75,” her obituary said.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke’s The Evangelist Church located at 2316 Fairhill Avenue in Glenside, on Tuesday, September 17 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at St. Luke’s on Monday, September 16 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Tuesday from 10:00am to 11:00am.
