The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety announced today that Pennsylvania is currently experiencing a statewide issue with 9-1-1 call delivery.

If you need to contact police, fire, or EMS in Montgomery County for any reason and are not able to get through by calling 9-1-1, you can call the department at (610) 635-4300.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) sent an alert to residents across the state shortly before 3:30pm reporting the statewide outage.

Governor Josh Shapiro posted the following on X.com:

I have been briefed by @PEMAHQ on the intermittent 911 outage currently happening in some parts of Pennsylvania. We are on top of the issue and working to restore full service as quickly as possible. In the meantime — stay calm, follow the directions of PEMA and local authorities, and do not call 911 for any reason other than an emergency. Updates to follow.
