Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club in Fort Washington has seen a 45% uptick in revenue since the pandemic

The Philadelphia Business Journal reported that Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club in Fort Washington’s revenue is up 45.1 percent ($7.57 million) since the pandemic, a trend seen by other nonprofit country clubs around the country.

A review of 2,000 clubs showed a median 24% increase in revenue between 2019 and 2022. Greater Philadelphia clubs exceeded the national average, reporting a median increase of 38%, the Journal said.

The article also notes that the growth for many has been coupled with an uptick in expenses and operational costs such that gains were often eclipsed.
