Manor College men’s basketball wins ESAC Championship for the 2nd-straight year, junior breaks all-time scoring record

Immanuel Roach, a junior at Manor College in Jenkintown, became the men’s basketball team’s all-time leading points scorer on Tuesday.

Roach ends his junior season with 1,225 total points for his career, surpassing Aaron Brown’s (’08) previous record of 1,202.

The 1,203th point came during the Eastern States Athletic Conference Championship game on Saturday, February 28. The Blue Jays went on to win the ESAC Championship for the second-straight year.

“It feels amazing to break the record because it’s a testament to my faith and the work I’ve put in,” Roach, a Presidential Ambassador and a finalist for the Mother Josaphat Medal, said. “Breaking the record shows me how far I’ve come, not only as a basketball player, but as a person.”
