Man arrested in Huntingdon Valley for receiving stolen car, illegal drugs

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced the arrest of Nelson Wojczyszyn, 54, for receiving a stolen car and possessing illegal drugs and associated paraphernalia.

According to the Department, officers found Wojczyszyn asleep in a silver Cadillac CTS near the 3400 block of Huntingdon Valley on Thursday, December 14 at approximately 02:00am.

After speaking with officers, an investigation revealed that he was in wrongful possession of the vehicle. Montgomery County Dispatch told officers that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Philadelphia.

Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found on his person during a search. His charges include:

(1) COUNT OF RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY (1) COUNT OF INTENTIONAL POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE BY (1) COUNT OF USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
