The Lower Moreland Police Department recently announced the arrest of Robert Katilas, 45, for assault and related charges.
At approximately 8:30am on October 11, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Philmont Avenue in Huntingdon Valley for a disturbance at a business. Officers were advised that a terminated employee—Katilas—returned and was threatening the owner.
After issuing threats in the owner’s office, Katilas proceeded to damage property valued at approximately $300. Multiple employees witnessed the threats and damage, police said.
Katilas’ charges include:
(1) COUNT OF TERRORISTIC THREATS W/ INT TO TERRORIZE ANOTHER (1) COUNT OF SIMPLE ASSAULT – ATTEMPT BY MENACE (1) COUNT OF HARASSMENT – COMM. LEWD THREATENING ETC. LANG (1) COUNT OF CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – DAMAGE PROPERTY – SUMMARY CASE (1) COUNT OF DISORDERLY CONDUCT
