Lower Moreland police to host flag raising ceremony with gun salute on Sept. 27

The Lower Moreland Township Police Department is hosting a flag raising ceremony with a gun salute on Saturday, September 27.

“Please be advised that the gun salute will consist of a series of loud, controlled blasts from firearms. While this may cause some noise, it is a traditional and respectful way to honor the flag and our nation,” the department said. “We kindly ask that residents and visitors who may hear these loud bangs be aware of this event and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.”

You can reach out to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department if you have any concerns or questions.
