The Lower Moreland Police Department announced that Sergeant Julia S. Huttick was promoted and sworn in as lieutenant and Michael Longo was sworn in as a new police officer during the township’s November Board of Commissioner’s meeting.  

In related news, the department will be partnering with the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company and Bryn Athyn Rescue/Fire Department for a Battle of the Badges on Saturday, November 23 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company.

The emergency vehicle that collects the most toys wins bragging rights! Come visit your local first responders to collect toys and help to make someone’s holiday a little bit brighter this year. You can also write letters and then give them to Santa, enjoy refreshments, get your face painted, and receive a cool holiday balloon!!
