Lower Moreland police arrest man for possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended registration

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Shaneef Claude, 28, for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended registration.

According to the report, Claude was stopped by police on Monday, June 9 on Byberry Road and Huntingdon Pike, during which officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

Claude admitted to having marijuana in the car and consented to a search which revealed drugs and drug paraphernalia, police said.

He was taken into custody and is being charged with the following:

(1) COUNT OF 780-113 A31I POESSION OF SMALL AMOUNT OF MARIJUANA
(1) COUNT OF 780-113 A32 USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
(1) COUNT OF 1371 A OPER AFTER REG IS SUSP
(1) COUNT OF 1543 A DRIV WHILE OPER PRIV SUSP OR REVOKED
