Lower Moreland police arrest male suspect on Montgomery County’s Most Wanted List

Cesar Almeida-Casas, 29, a male suspect who has been on Montgomery County’s Most Wanted List since February 2024, was arrested on Friday, July 11, the Lower Moreland Police Department announced today.

He has been transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await further proceedings, police said. 

Lower Moreland Police issued arrest warrants for Almeida-Casas and his accomplice Henry Castillo-Suarez in October 2023 following a July 2022 burglary.

According to officials, the suspects broke into and ransacked a residence on Welsh Road in Huntingdon Valley and left with high-end jewelry and cash. Responding detectives processed the scene and located a blood stain on the carpet, which led to further investigation and the identification of Almeida-Casas and Castillo-Suarez.

Castillo-Suarez is still wanted on charges of:

  • (1) COUNT OF BURGLARY – BUILDING WITH OVERNIGHT ACCOM
  • (1) COUNT OF CRIM TRES-BREAK INTO STRUCTURE
  • (1) COUNT OF RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
  • (1) COUNT OF THEFT BY UNLAW TAKING – MOVABLE PROP

He is described as a 5’10” Hispanic male weighing 180 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He and two other suspects remain on the Most Wanted List for offenses in greater Glenside.
