Little Library Monday

There’s a new kid in town. Jenkintown now has its own Little Library thanks to the efforts of the Jenkintown Public Library. Made by a local resident and installed by the Borough, this example sits in Town Square, and might hold more books than any of the others we have in the area.

The free repository first appeared in the Square on July 19, and received its first collection of books from the public library the following Monday. The colors reflect those of the schools and Jenkintown’s long-running Color Day tradition where the Reds battle the Blues in feats of strength and endurance.

This week, Jenkintown’s Little Library has titles by Dan Brown and J.R.R. Tolkien, and a coffee table book with photos of Manhattan.
