Large power outage in North Hills, East Oreland to be restored by July 17

Upper Dublin Township officials announced that a large power outage is affecting the North Hills neighborhood and parts of East Oreland.

PECO is addressing the issue with an estimated power restoration date of Wednesday, July 17, officials said.

If you are without power, the township encourages you to:

  • Seek respite in a cool place until power is restored.
  • Visit a loved one’s home.
  • Go to an air conditioned building, such as the Willow Grove Mall or a local library.
  • Stay hydrated. Avoid caffeine & alcohol (both cause dehydration).
