Mr. Joseph Parisi, long-time coach, athletics administrator and Lasallian educator was inducted into the Montgomery County Coaches Hall of Fame on Tuesday, November 21.
In addition to the Montco Coaches Hall of Fame, Parisi is a member of the City All-Star Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as well as the La Salle College High School Hall of Athletics.
Parisi coached baseball at La Salle College High School for 32 years with 28 seasons as the head coach starting in 1986. He won four Philadelphia Catholic League championships and reached the PCL final an additional seven times. He has a career record of 453-238 with two PIAA state championships and three District 12 championships.
“It means the world to me to be recognized and be put in with such a prestigious group,” Parisi said, “not only the people being inducted tonight but the people that have been inducted previously. It’s an honor and a privilege to be recognized with them.”
Parisi was also La Salle’s Athletic Director from 1991 to 2001 and from 2012 to 2021.
