Keswick Collective announces February lineup: Kids Club After-School Program, Kids’ Night Out, Valentine’s Day Vows in the Village & Boxing Basics and Self Defense for Beginners

Keswick Collective, Glenside’s newest wedding and event venue, has the following announcements for February and beyond:

Keswick Kids Club After-School Program

Starting February 19th, we are launching the Keswick Kids Club After-School Program, designed for students in grades K-8. This program will run from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a safe and engaging environment for children after school. The fee for this program is $135 per week, and we’re coordinating Abington Transportation to add a bus stop either at our door or at Abington Ave & Keswick Ave for convenient drop-off. If direct transport to our door isn’t feasible, we will arrange to meet the children at the corner. Children attending on a Kids’ Night Out evening will receive a 50% discount for the KNO event.

“Keswick Kids Club is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us. We provide a nurturing space where children can grow, learn, and play, ensuring every afternoon is an adventure filled with learning and fun,” owner Colleen McDermott said.

Kids’ Night Out

Continuing the success of our Kids’ Night Out events, the next sessions are scheduled for February 16th and March 15th. These evenings are filled with fun activities including crafts, games, and more. Dinner and snacks are included, with registration required by the Wednesday before each event to ensure adequate preparation. Cost $30 per event with add on options for VR.

“Our Kids’ Night Out events are all about providing a safe and exciting environment for kids to explore, socialize, and just be kids. It’s an evening where imagination and fun take center stage, leaving parents worry-free,” McDermott said.

Valentine’s Day Vows in the Village

On February 14th, Marry Me Philadelphia will host a special Valentine’s Day event, “Vows in the Village,” at Keswick Collective. Couples can renew their vows or get married in an intimate setting, complete with professional photography, a champagne toast, and more. Cost: $250 per couple.

“Valentine’s Day at Marry Me Philadelphia is a celebration of love in its purest form. We offer couples a magical and intimate experience to renew their vows and relive the joy of their union,” McDermott said.

Boxing Basics and Self Defense for Beginners

Starting February 15th, we’re teaming up with Fit for Royalty Personal Training to offer Boxing Basics and Self Defense classes every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. These classes, led by certified master trainer Hasan Walker, are perfect for individuals looking to improve their fitness and self-defense skills. Cost $15 per session.

“Our Boxing Basics and Self-Defense classes are more than just physical training; they’re about empowering individuals to feel confident and secure. Every session is a step towards personal growth and strength,” McDermott said.

The venue recently celebrated a milestone by hosting a spectacular kids’ 10th birthday party.

“It was a vibrant and joyous affair that perfectly showcased our ability to create memorable moments for our younger guests,” McDermott said. “The event was filled with laughter, fun activities, and heartwarming interactions, truly highlighting our space as an ideal venue for family celebrations. The success of this party stands as a testament to our commitment to providing a welcoming and versatile space for all types of community events. It was not just a party; it was an experience that the kids and their parents will cherish for years to come.”
