The papered windows of the former Loan Depot in Keswick Village now display a series of permits issued by Abington Township. In the comments and conditions section of the fire alarm permit issued on July 1st, the town refers to the space as Kay’s Cigar and Jazz Lounge.

Sounds like a great combination to us. Plus, with the loss of Dino’s, it looks like Kay’s just might keep the swank in the village.

One of the other permits also confirms what sources told us, that the work involves upgrading the sprinkler system in the whole building.

Either way, we’re looking forward to yet another night-life option for the area.
