With a freshly-minted outdoor patio, Jerzee’s Sports Bar & Pizzaria in Glenside is ready for spring.

The patio officially opened late last summer, and Barry Elvidge, Jerzee’s long-time general manager, is excited about the addition.

“We’ve had a good response so far. It’s a great place to entertain and it’s a nice environment,” he said. “People go out there when the restaurant and bar areas are full.”

The area offers table service, six big-screen TVs, fans for the warmer months, new flooring, chairs, tables, and a roof over guests’ heads.

The space is always open to the public, and with Jerzee’s Private Event Planner, guests can customize any gathering with a beverage and food package.

“It’s a great spot for happy hours and special events. We do a lot of graduation and birthday parties,” Barry said.

With the Sixers still going strong and the advent of the Phillies’ 2023-24 campaign weeks away, the sports-centric vibe is ideal for a Sunday afternoon game.

“We had the World Series out there, and the patio was full,” Barry said. “We’ve been fortunate that our teams have been successful lately.”
