Jersey College Nursing School, located at 610 Old York Road in Jenkintown, recently opened their campus for business. Classes are scheduled to begin on August 28.

The new location offers the Professional Nursing (RN) program and has been enrolling students since May 1. The Jenkintown campus features:

• 32,000 sq. ft. campus
• 3,700 sq. ft. skills lab
• 12 classrooms
• Student study rooms and lounge space

The Jenkintown campus is Jersey College’s 16th in the nation, and its second in Pennsylvania.

According to Borough Manager George Locke, a last leg in their opening process was approval for exterior signage.

“They wanted to put out signages at the entrance of the building. A variance for their sign was approved, and they’ve installed those signs,” Locke said.
