PECO gas main repair work will bring temporary lane restrictions to Walnut Street between Washington Lane and Summit Avenue in Jenkintown next week.

The project will begin Monday, December 4 and continue through Friday, December 8 from 7:00am until 3:00pm daily. 

According to the Borough, the repair work is in preparation for the planned paving of Walnut Street scheduled to be completed next year.  

Flaggers will be on site to help control the flow of traffic during this process. Residents will continue to have access to their properties, though sreet parking may temporarily be interrupted and will be posted as necessary.  

If you do not reside on this road, please take another route during these times to avoid disruption of your travels.
