North Hills Country Club, located at 99 Station Avenue in Glenside (Springfield Township), is soon to be under new ownership, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
The club’s owner, Texas-based Invited Clubs—which also has the Pyramid Club in Philly and the Hartefeld National Golf Club in Avondale in its portfolio—will be acquired by Denver-based KSL Capital Partners for $2.6 billion.
“The reported deal would see Denver-based KSL become Invited’s owner for a second time. KSL previously bought Invited, then known as ClubCorp, for $1.8 billion in 2006 and then took the company public through an initial public offering in 2013”, The Journal wrote.
Forbes recently published an article on which reviews an email sent to KSL investors on April 17. According to that email, the deal was expected to close in approximately 60 days.
