The Jenkintown Library is currently seeking to fill two Requests For Proposal (RFPs) to complete work on the library’s Vista Road Entrance, parking lot, and inner entryway. The goal of this project is to create accessibility and a welcoming atmosphere at the library’s Vista Road entrance, including renovations to our entryway, concrete work and striping for handicap-reserved parking.

All bids for these RFPs are to be submitted by March 24th, 2024 to Jenkintown Library at 460 York Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046. Submissions should be my mail or in-person to the library.

RFP: Vista Road Entrance Paving/Parking Lot

Summary of Job: Replacement of sidewalk for new accessible sidewalk entrance and
striping of Accessible parking places with appropriate signage.

Specifics of job:

● See drawings A-000 through A-20 prepared by Campbell Thomas & Co.
Proposal to include all noted scope except notes labeled “Misc. Additional Work.”
● All work must be fully invoiced and completed by June 30th, 2024.

RFP: Vista Road Entrance Carpentry/Electrical/Plumbing

Summary of Job: Replacement of entry door, replacement of pediment trim, installation
of new book drop and display case, and plumbing and electrical provisions for a future
coffee bar.
