Jefferson Health – Thomas Jefferson University Hospital was ranked the top hospital in Pennsylvania for 2025, Statista.com announced. The hospital system received the top ranking in 2024 as well.

The University of Pennsylvania was ranked second, and Penn State Health – Milton S. Hershey Medical Center came in third. You can read the full list here.

The annual ranking is part of America’s Best-in-State Hospitals and is held in cooperation with Newsweek. Metrics include a nationwide online survey of health care professionals, quality of care metrics, accreditation data, patient satisfaction data, and a PROMs implementation survey.

Jefferson Abington Hospital (1200 Old York Road) is part of Jefferson Health and was ranked the 17th best hospital in Pennsylvania for 2023 and 2024.

Jefferson Abington ranked 7th in the Philadelphia region (up from #8 in 2023) and 13th in Pennsylvania (up from #17 in 2023) according to a U.S. News & World Report released in July.
