Jefferson Abington is recruiting Pastoral Care Volunteers to make spiritual care visits to patients and families.

Volunteers will receive free training and skill development and must complete an application, background check and onboarding through JAH Volunteers Department.

Once approved, volunteers will complete interview and Pastoral Care Volunteer training, provide 2-4 hours per week of visitation, and partake in quarterly gatherings for continuing education and fellowship with other pastoral care volunteers.

The next Pastoral Care Volunteer training session will be held on Thursday, March 14 and the application deadline is Friday, March 1, 2024.
