This Saturday, March 12th, from 11 am to 2 pm, the Grand Opening celebration of HipCityVeg inside The Fresh Grocer of Wyncote at 1000 Easton Ave. will take place.

HipCityVeg Founder and CEO Nicole Marquis, and Jeff Brown, Chairman/CEO of Browns’s ShopRite and The Fresh Grocer Supermarkets in Philadelphia will be in attendance. Instead of cutting a ribbon, they will be cutting a plant-based cheesesteak together to commemorate the grand opening.

The first 50 people in line will get a free meal, and everyone else that day will get free sweet potato fries with any purchase. A DJ will play from 11 – 2, and HipCityVeg will give away prizes.

HipCityVeg opened its first restaurant in Philadelphia in 2012 and by this spring, they will have 15 locations across the Mid-Atlantic region.
