The Alumni Association of Cheltenham High School will host 2002 Hall of Fame inductee Glenn A. Fine (Class of 1974) for a discussion of his new book on Saturday, October 19 at 11:30am in the high school’s Stretton Hall.
His book, “Watchdogs: Inspectors General and the Battle for Honest and Accountable Government,” was released in August and shares stories from his 15-year career serving the U.S. government.
An accomplished student-athlete at Cheltenham, Fine graduated from Harvard University where he was a member and co-captain of the basketball team. He went on to become a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University and Harvard a Law graduate.
He also served as the inspector general of the Department of Justice from 2000 to 2011 and was the acting inspector general of the Department of Defense from 2016 to 2020.
In addition to the book, he will talk about his time as a Panther. His graduating class will be gathering for its 50th reunion.
