Greater Glenside Civic Association to host Keswick Ave Bridge Underpass Clean-up on October 21

The Greater Glenside Civic Association will host a Keswick Ave Bridge Underpass Clean-up on Saturday, October 21 from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Keswick Avenue between Mt. Carmel and Glenside avenues.

From the event’s description:

Please join The Greater Glenside Civic Association for a clean-up under the Keswick Avenue railway bridge. We’ll remove weeds, trim overgrown plants, and pick up any trash in the green spaces and sidewalks.

We’re asking all volunteers to bring your own tools: Clippers, Pruners, Loppers, Pole Trimmers, Hand Shovels/Trowels, Hand Saws, Shovels, Rakes, Brooms, Heavy Twine, Yard Waste Bags and don’t forget your own Yard Gloves. *Please label tools with your name to avoid accidental swaps.

Volunteers will be assigned a task (cutters, rakers, baggers, etc) and we’ll work together to clean-up this well-traveled part of Glenside that connects Keswick Village and Downtown Glenside.

Please sign-up and indicate any tools you plan to bring. Thank you!
