‘Grand Hank’ of Glenside to host 17th Annual Black History STEM Field Trip on Feb 28

“Master scientist Grand Hank” (aka Tyraine Ragsdale), a 30-year resident of Glenside and a promoter of large STEM events for youth nationwide, is hosting the 5th Mega Event for Learning on Friday, February 28 at the Tindley Temple Mega Church (750 South Broad Street, Philadelphia).

Described as “a one-of-a-kind experience designed for K-8 students in the Philadelphia School District,” the event is part of the 17th Annual Black History STEM Field Trip presented by Grand Hank Productions Inc. and The Knowledge Factory, Inc.

This year’s event, titled “Celebrating African American Scientists and Inventors Through Live Demonstrations Set to Music,” will provide students with demonstrations that bring science to life in a fun and engaging way.
