GoFundMe launched in support of Erdenheim Auto Repair to help the business recover from severe fire damage

A GoFundMe has launched in support of Erdenheim Auto Repair (601 Bethlehem Pike in the Glenside section of Springfield Township), which suffered severe damage from a fire on June 23.

$1,650 has been raised at the time of this writing. From the GoFundMe‘s description:

Erdenheim Auto, a beloved neighborhood repair shop in Springfield Township, PA, suffered severe damage from a recent fire. Located at 601 Bethlehem Pike, the shop has been a trusted staple of the community for over 25 years, run with heart and hustle by our friend, Pip.

The weekend of the fire, smoke was seen pouring from the building. Multiple fire crews, including the Flourtown Fire Company, responded quickly and were able to extinguish the blaze. Thankfully, no injuries were reported — but the damage to the shop is extensive. Tools, equipment, and years of hard work have been lost.

In a message to the community, Flourtown Fire Company said it best:

“Our thoughts are with the business owner — we hope to see this staple of our community back up and running soon.”

We’re asking for your help to make that happen.

Pip has been serving this community for more than two decades — fixing cars, helping stranded neighbors, and always going the extra mile with honesty and heart. Erdenheim Auto is more than just a shop; it’s a part of the fabric of this community.

Now, he needs us. Your donation will help Pip recover and rebuild — covering the cost of repairs, cleanup, tools, and getting back to doing what he does best.

If you’ve ever had Pip save the day — or believe in supporting small businesses that truly care — please consider donating. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for your kindness, support, and for standing with Erdenheim Auto in this difficult time.
