The Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA) announced that the 13th annual “Keep the Parade Running” fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 8:00am.

There are 10 age categories for the race, which starts and ends at North Penn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 676, Jenkintown and Easton Roads.

The event is crucial to keeping alive Glenside’s three-tier, family-friendly Independence Day celebration. It helps pay the cost of the 4th of July festivities, which include a children’s program, after-dark fireworks, and the Glenside Parade.
