Glenside teen charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, impersonating a public servant

Jarrett Fort, 18, of Glenside, has been charged with felony counts of robbery, burglary, kidnapping, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property in connection with an armed home invasion on May 25, 2023 in Hilltown Township, Bucks County.

According to North Penn Now, Fort and two other armed males claimed to be with the sheriff’s department to gain access to the residence, then tied up a homeowner before ransacking their home and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and numerous items, including two handguns.

They held the victim at gunpoint and made them lay face down on the floor, according to charging documents. The burglars fled the area in a white Ford Explorer.

Investigators told North Penn Now that the homeowner was specifically targeted.

Court records show Fort is in custody at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $750,000 cash bail.

Fort was arrested by Hilltown police on December 8. His LinkedIn profile states that he was a laborer at BWolf Construction & Landscaping, LLC.
