The Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1 announced that units were dispatched for a seven-vehicle accident with fire at 5:23am on Friday, October 18.
According to the post, the crash took place on Route 309 at mile marker 6.0. Squad 88 found one vehicle on fire with northbound lanes blocked.
The Upper Dublin Police Department said that those lanes were closed between Highland Avenue and Susquehanna Road due to the crash. They were reopened at 7:25am.
According to CBS News, an ambulance was seen leaving the scene at around 6:30am. Vehicles were being diverted off of Highland Avenue to avoid that crash.
