The Facebook Group Friends of Bishop McDevitt recently tracked down many of the would-be graduates from Bishop McDevitt High School’s Class of 2023.

The Herculean task involved finding students who transferred from McDevitt to other local high schools after its closure in 2021. Some of the transferred students’ photos, courtesy of the Friends of Bishop McDevitt, are below.

Bishop McDevitt’s Class of 2023 was a special group of students who were destined for great things on Royal Ave. After McDevitt was closed in 2021, they scattered to a variety of area schools (Abington, Cheltenham, Gwynned Mercy Academy, Father Judge, Little Flower, Upper Dublin, Wood, etc). We tried to track down as many of the Lancers from ’23 as we could to celebrate their graduation from high school. Best of luck to the Class of 2023! #LancersForLife#LastLancers
