On Saturday December 9, the Friends of Bishop McDevitt officially opened The McDevitt Room at the Knights of Columbus in Glenside with a dedication ceremony and blessing. 

The McDevitt Room will permanently display the history of Bishop McDevitt High School which opened on December 9, 1958 and closed in June 2021.

The room has several displays that focus on different areas of McDevitt’s 63 years of operation: School history, administration/teachers, marching band, sports, and a wall of honor for alumni who served their country and community. 

The Friends of Bishop McDevitt will hold a grand opening event on Saturday February 24, 2024 at the Knights of Columbus for alumni and friends of Bishop McDevitt to see the room.
