Freeze Warning / Frost Advisory in effect beginning tonight

The National Weather Service has forecasted sub-freezing temperatures, frost, and a possible snow squall for the greater Philadelphia region beginning Wednesday night with lows in the mid-20s to near 30s.

Widespread sub-freezing temperatures and frost development tonight will likely end the growing season for our region. Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories are in effect. Remember to protect your pets from the cold and bring any sensitive plants indoors.


The week’s forecast can be found below:

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 50. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday night: Widespread frost after midnight. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 28. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Widespread frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 50. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

Thursday night: Widespread frost after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 32. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Friday: Widespread frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 58. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.
