Fort Washington-based company launches app for service contractors

Shwego, a Fort Washington-based start-up business with an app which tracks trucks and tradespeople including plumbers, painters, electricians, and HVAC repair, was featured by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The company was founded last year and its name is short for “Should We Go?” According to their website, the app offers “easy-to-use software to contractors for quoting, job scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and payments.”

An excerpt from The Inquirer‘s article:

[CEO Sam] Puleo said he and business partner Junny Kim, a past Accenture IT consultant, are in growth mode, meeting demand from small businesses looking for simple digital systems without the expensive features the Silicon Valley giants sell.

They are family men who spend less time than they’d like at home. Puleo sold his digital marketing firm to focus day, night, and weekends on Shwego. Kim has kept his day job, running a Gong Cha bubble-tea franchise in Chalfont.
