The former FoodChasers’ Kitchen at 7852 Montgomery Avenue in Elkins Park is undergoing light renovations since the eatery closed for good in September.

According to Henry Sekawungu, director of building and zoning at Cheltenham Township, the property’s landlord “is doing some floor repairs, cleaning and painting since the space was tore up by the prior tenant when moving out.”

The landlord is looking to attract a tenant, Sekawungu said, noting that any new tenants would need to go through required permitting processes and approvals.

According to FoodChasers’ website, they have opened a new location at 3300 Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia.
