Hatboro First Friday returning to the Hungry Hideaway Williams Lane outdoor dining area on May 2

Hatboro officials announced today that First Friday events are returning to the Hungry Hideaway Williams Lane outdoor dining area on May 2.

According to their announcement, outdoor seating areas will be offered on Williams Lane (located on Williams Lane between York Road and the rear entrance of Ross N Company’s driveway) and East Monument Avenue on a rotating schedule. The first Hungry Hideaway of 2025 will be held from May 2 until May 5.

Traffic restrictions and road closures:

Williams Lane from York Road to the Ross N Company driveway will be closed to traffic beginning at 1:00pm on Friday, May 2 for setup. There will be no through traffic on Williams Lane between York Road and Orchard Avenue, officials said.

Meter bags will be placed on the meters prior to this time as well to deter on-street parking in the impacted area.

“Throughout the summer, this dining area will rotate between Williams Lane and East Monument Avenue to provide outdoor dining areas near businesses on both sides of our main street district,” the borough said. “The Borough is currently working on a schedule for the remainder of the summer. We will release information on the remaining dates and information on the new East Monument dining area in the coming weeks.”

Questions regarding the closure can be directed to Borough Hall at 215-443-9100.
